The Challenge
Michael reached out to us to help him redesign his backyard deck which was built in the early 80’s. The old wood deck was deteriorating and needed a facelift. Michael challenged us to come up with a three story deck design that would wrap around his house and also include a 12’x16′ hot tub. We listened to his vision and began designing the deck. Michael is a decorated veteran and wanted the deck to be completed before his Fourth of July party for his Friends and Family.
Our Solution
We captured Michael’s vision through 3D rendering software and making sure that we are encompassing all aspects of his vision. We encompassed specific details around the railing, placement of the hot tub, and the unique staircase that was requested by Michael. Every step of the way, we ensured we were on the same page with the changes and updates to the design.
The Result
We delivered well ahead of the Fourth of July deadline and Michael was grateful for our craftsmanship as well as our communication with the project. Michael requested a change order towards the end of the project to add a door from his master bedroom on to his third floor deck, which our team was able to deliver!
